Opsource Staffing of Gaffney has partnered with an Environmental Service Company in the Gaffney, SC area.

Pay for the position :

• $17.00 - $18.00
• $40 a day per diem

Shifts for the position :

Some out of town travel

Job requirements for the position may include :

• Assist project personnel with setting up equipment (water tanks, secondary containment berm, liquid hoses, pumps, etc.), mixing cleaning solution, monitoring introduction of cleaning solution, and ensuring all connections and infrastructure is in good working order.
• Assist with traffic control to keep company and client staff safe.
• Operate forklift equipment to unload materials onto project site.
• Assist with removal and installation of system pumps.
• Assist with installation and removal of inflatable pipe plugs.
• Operate hand and power tools required to undo pipe fittings and flanges to perform required equipment connections.
• Observe and assist Project Manager / Field Superintendent to learn the specifics of performing the cleaning and restoration of pipes

Qualifications for the position :

• Operation and Maintenance of mechanical and pipeline systems preferred but not required.
• Travel 100% nationwide required.
• Experience working outside and experience traveling for a job preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing.
• Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting and carrying equipment / mechanical components (up to 50 lbs.

unassisted), carrying and climbing ladders, operating electronic tools (drills, saws, etc.), using hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.

and providing services under varying weather conditions
